Today’s game is Twilight Princess. I got as far as Zora’s Domain, today. Before unthawing it thought i stopped and got a picture of Link on the throne. Unhelpful? yes. Fun? Also yes.
Speaking of Zora’s domain, the puzzle on this was an absolute headache to figure out. I didn’t know i had to go grab that rock and drop it on the ice. Anyways, once i figured that out it was a little smoother sailing.

Something i noticed around this time was that Midna doesn’t have a reflection in the Ice. I don’t know if this is just an oversight or intentional but i thought it was interesting none the less.

Tracking down the light things though proved to be another challenge. I didn’t realize i had to fly back through on that flying thing again to get them. I also ended up having to look that one up.

The escort mission that follows shortly after was fun, albeit a bit too long. It reminds me of Spirit Tracks and how you can control Zelda, i think it’s mostly because you can see a path on the map though.

Finally i wanted to end off on a rather mundane note, that being the world. I love how it’s scale looks. It reminds me of those extreme minecraft worlds, but i loathe traversing it. It feels so segmented and massive. And there’s a few places that seem samey. It’s definitely my major functional gripe so far, but it could also very well be a personal one.

yeah the bloom and the ~brown~ certainly didn’t help.
i remember in the early days of dolphin’s wii support, when this and skyward sword had a weird thing where the size of the bloom didn’t scale with the resolution but the intensity did, so in higher than native a quarter of the screen would just be completely blown out.
