They’re certainly more representative of the people than the average western country given that they’ve largely resisted neoliberal austerity (mostly, I have some criticisms of vietnam’s national insurance policy) so it can’t be that. Is it because they’re not white or because their governments don’t work to help western capitalists exploit their labor and resources?
