I wish unisex bathrooms were the norm. All this bullshit is stupid.
How does filtering by gender protect privacy? If you were actually worried some horny person is going to check out your junk then surely it should be based on sexual preference? But that is difficult to prove so we instead implement rules THAT MAKE NO FUCKING SENSE.
Politicians are dumb, this helps no one.
I live in North America, where bathroom stalls have gaps large enough to watch a movie through. I wish we would just get rid of those things, have a bunch of private, unisex stalls with proper doors for the toilet or urinal and a communal area for the sinks. I’ve been to exactly two places in my life that had this style, both within the last 5 years.
Back in 2019, I started listening to the WTYP podcast, didn’t know much about trans stuff then, and was mostly confused about the pronoun check, then for a while I got annoyed at it. But over time I understood that it doesn’t matter to me.
If November identifies as a woman, it doesn’t hurt me to oblige her.
I don’t really understand the whole trans deal, but I do understand common curtesy.
