“Can you take a foster? 4 weeks old. Is eating wet food. URI.” “Let me check my med stock.”. … “I have azithromycin. We can’t drive right now. Can you deliver?” “Yes. And I will return the Tupperware you delivered the cowboy beans in.” “Does it have a name?” “Nope. Fresh from the trailer park.”
Charlie does not approve of Kibo.

Good luck, baby creature!
I would take this lil black belt in a heart beat.
This kid doesn’t even qualify as a pink belt. I’m used to extra spicy and this kid isn’t even mild.
“Fisk Fisk “ “meow meow” “take that back!”
Nope. Too tiny to pose a threat.

Poor little thing. I hope for a speedy recovery and many purrs
I’m not worried about the URI. My biggest concern is that 4 week olds aren’t great at thermo regulation. If they hadn’t said that they could eat wet food I would have had to find another foster. Bottle feeding kittens destroys humans.
Looking pretty toasty in this pic, but I hear you. The little ones are terrifyingly delicate, especially when they’re already not feeling well. Hopefully this one is old and strong enough to have developed a something of a baseline. Do you have a heating pad or are you having to do it the low tech way?
And yeah, bottle feeding is intense. Anyone who does it is certainly made of far far stronger stuff than me, but then again, so are you.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you both.
I have a heating pad at use for birds. He is moving around and just destroyed some wet food.
