This is the KDE-Unstable repository. I still wait for it in the main repos (should have been more clear). BTW the linked package shows up as version 6.6.91-1. So this is not v6.7?

Already thought that this is what you could’ve meant, just wasn’t sure. No worries. x.x.91 are beta versions of the upcoming release. Don’t ask me why they chose this system instead of something like 6.7-beta1, I have no idea either :)

Hmm now that you mention it, GIMP has a similar way of version numbering for next upcoming versions. I guess waiting is the better option, because installing the beta version might cause issues with applications and libraries in use… probably.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
