    i agree. layoffs like this have always been going on, CEOs get to say ai and investors get excited. its causing more uproar about ai.

    they keep laying people off and not hiring anyone at my company. it’s not AI-related though, we have no gains from AI lol

        saying it’s AI-related is an easy and convenient way to do layoffs without it looking bad to investors. also investors want to see this so they are willing to believe the lie.
