I feel that logic is flawed. Instead of proposing or asking for something that has an ice cube’s chance in hell, it would make a lot more sense to make small changes that have a higher chance of being implemented to the point where the final product is a positive.
Boiling frog fable. If you put a frog in a pot and crank the heat all the way up, that frog will likely jump out. If you slowly raise the temperature, the frog is less likely to perceive it right away.
