Really? I had thought they stopped more recently. I had a Galaxy S5 long time ago and I was able to swap battery but everybody I know that later got the newer Samsungs were not able to replace their battery. Fairphone I could see… that is built into their marketing.

The Samsung Xcover line even had headphone jacks until recently.
