There is a real difference in the type of hardware that gets used in an AI data centre; it’s not a trivial or pedantic distinction.
Where do you make the cut though? Do basic GPU nodes count already? Do TPUs count?
I am aware, but it’d be disingenuous to say that we’re not training LLMs in Europe.
