Tulum is ok, but the entire beach has been bought by a private enterprise and is effectively off limits unless you want to pay 40 dollars for entry. It’s outrageous. Some company called jaguar something or other. I was there recently and the locals were genuinely furious. Some nice cenotes nearby though.
