    That hits a bit different when entry level boards now cost what high end used to cost a few years ago. The deals I see make the flagship boards cost what flagship used to cost a few years ago. Board manufacturer pricing has gone mental.

    This is a shit article. There are only a couple good deals on Newegg and this author is making it sound like manufacturers are slashing MB prices across the board because they’re so desperate to get rid of them. I just checked every single x870e motherboard I’ve been watching and not a single one is discounted in any way.

    i bought my AM4 mATX board in 2020 for €60. claiming $200 is “entry level” is just bull.
