They’ve invented lots of technologies since the 1940s unfortunately for Russia they then burnt it all in the first 6 months of the war so now they’re back to Soviet era tanks.
Meanwhile everybody else’s stock by all is still at 100%.
China is also unlikely to be too supportive in that area, they would like Russia to win against the West, but they also know that’s not going to happen without China joining the war (Russian air force essentially no longer exists and their navy has been effectively neutralised), and they don’t want to do that. So second best option is to let Russia collapse and then take a bit of territory from themselves.
