    I’d walk because that old thing is a safety nightmare. (I’ve driven multiple different types of stickshift cars, bikes, tractors, and more; I think that part is not an issue)

      after buying a stick shift… the issue isn’t that stick shift is unsafe, it’s all the slam foot on gas to go drivers that are unsafe… driving when there’s clear obstacles in the way, or being so lazy and casual with driving that you face in glued to your phone…

      that doesn’t happen with stick… those drivers are MUCH better drivers… in fact, I’d argue they actually drive. automatic occupants, nah… foot down - go and screw everyone else

      It doesn’t feel like as natural of an arm movement as a floor shifter IMO. Feels awkward.
