Nah. Unnecessarily blurred (or, in the case of some user/client settings, completely hidden) posts are a nuisance.

Especially for something as innocuous as three letters of text.

I don’t think anyone will suffer if they don’t see this (mildly interesting) post because they have chosen to hide nsfw content. I think anyone who decides to hide nsfw stuff has only themselves to blame if they miss the most interesting stuff.

I find this “don’t censor obscenities here, whe’re not on F*c*book” mentality just as annoying as the censoring itself. If you don’t like the way someone is writing, don’t read it. There are millions of other posts for you.

As the epoch is signed, the first date might refer to December 1901, at least for a 32-bit number.

If it’s seconds past the Epoch, the integer 1 would be January 1st, 1970 12:00:01 AM

In java LinkedList, the method .get(0) is equivalent to .getFirst().

And if we’re still both 32 bits dating, instead of getting married into 64 bits, we’ll have some problems in January 2038…

Depends on your time zone. It would still be new years eve in the US.

If someone who had conceived on 1 Jan 1970 they would be born around end of Aug / beginning of Sept, and be 56 years old
