The new project, called Hannah Montana Linux v26.0, brings back the internet-famous distro as a Debian-based live system with a heavily themed KDE Plasma desktop. Importantly, rather than being built from scratch, it is a nostalgic remaster that simply updates the original joke for today’s Linux desktop.



It is silly, unnecessary, and probably not something most people will use every day.
Well now I’m going to unironically use it as my daily driver.
one day, Hannah Montana Linux will become the most popular Linux distro on the Steam Hardware Survey
I mean honestly there’s not any reason you couldn’t. Other than I’m not sure how well it will be maintained.
