It’s Al Franken all over again. Regardless of what happened five years ago, his accuser was manipulated into timing this so there’s be no time for any investigation to find out what actually happened.
If Platner is a piece of shit, he’d just ignore it and not drop. But that’s also what he’d do if he was innocent.
And once again, he only has to beat Susan Collins, if he stills runs in the general, he’s damn near a guarantee to win, this is the only chance people who don’t like a progressive whose vocally against genocide have to stop him.

Perhaps you’re right Susan Collins is terrible and many Americans have proven they don’t care about when men rape women. Time will tell I guess but I think many of his base won’t vote for him anymore or aid in his campaign because of this.

I think the evidence is damning so far and the journalists and politicians I trust believe the same thing.
