“the most played” often means literally by children (not even kidding, when I played Fortnite briefly, there were several instances of 3-5 year old kids on the voice chat lol) who have never played a game with any depth. Congrats, tough crowd lol… Maybe if Fortnite and Call of Duty weren’t trash I’d feel differently, but they are. I have no loyalty to any company, if anything I have loyalty to the idea of open source software. Your worst nightmare, apparently.
Sure man I’m really missing out. I totally don’t enjoy telling people I cannot run Fortnite when they ask me. I totally want to play that bloated garbage which is overrun by toddlers saying the N word. That would be the dream… if only I could find an OS where I can do that, and also get my machine wrecked weekly with insane AI updates and new default shit that I hate. All while randomly rebooting my computer without asking permission. A boy can dream!!
Simp and cope, simp and cope. That’s all you’re doing.
A gaming pc not being able to play literally the most popular games in the world is not a good thing. Even if those games are objectively terrible - which they’re not - they’re the games that the most people want to play.
“My piece of shit cobbled together mess of an OS, puked from the bungholes of generations of short term employees, definitely kicks fucking ass. Why? Because I can play the shittiest overrated games with racist children! Who gives a shit if a corporation literally demands root access to my fucking kernel because they suck at programming? Only cOpEs would care about that!!!1”
You’re looking at this from a “I love Linux and detest windows” point of view, when I’m looking at this from a gaming perspective. Windows can play every game Linux can, but the opposite is not true.
Why on earth would anyone want Linux to not be able to play a bunch of games, many of which not being able to play is an absolute dealbreaker for tens of millions of people? That makes zero sense.
I want competition because that’s what drives innovation and improvement. I want Linux to get to the point where it is a legitimate competitor to windows as a gaming OS (and a general purpose OS). It’s not there yet, ands it never will be when people like you make excuses for it not being.
“Oh we don’t want those games anyway” is peak “corporate cocksucker” behaviour. You don’t have to want to play them, but to not want them to be playable is utterly astoundingly cuck-like behaviour.

lmao sure ya do.
wah wah you make no sense
Pretty simple, if I were to handpick a feature not to exist on linux, it would be kernel-level anticheat. It’s something that shouldn’t exist, it’s not okay that it does.

More simping to justify steam machines not having the most popular games playable on them.

aka just observing reality.
