Technically Sony has the ability to remotely disable any game so that PS4s and PS5s don’t read the disc. Though that requires the console to be connected to the internet. As long as it’s not, you should be good. Not exactly ‘ownership’, but fairly close.
The end of ownership came a long time ago for PS players. Now it’s just the end of fancy boxes and discs that give an illusion of ownership.
