Yeah it was a housemate thinking they were being sweet with the cat and I didn’t know. I think older people, older generations think its fine. and like mayyyyyybe once in an eternity its fine. But humans are very good at making excuses for themselves, and it being “fine”.
My gosh you people concern yourselves with what I feed my cat more than what you feed yourselves huh?
It’s in the damn title “a little slommy”.
No her diet is not 100% fatty processed salty cold cuts.
She is an exceptionally healthy cat, always has been, very active outdoors and showing no signs of ageing despite being 13 this year. Rarely ever had to take her to the vet, the worst we get is some knots in her fur sometimes.
Waaay too much fat and sodium for a cat. Bad idea.
Well it’s not exactly healthy for me is it?
It won’t kill her.
Put my cat in the ER. 4 grand later…
Damn, shame.
Like I said before in other comments, this was taken a couple weeks ago, and she’s totally fine.

That’s not how it works. Their organs are different and can’t process the high sodium in the same way. It’s definitely not good for them.
It’s probably fine this one time, but if you give it to her more than once, especially large portions like that, it could impact her health.

Bologna nearly killed my cat…
Depends on the cat.
This photo was taken a couple weeks ago, she’s fine.
Not really, most cats can’t process that level of fat and sodium. Good luck I guess.
What part of “taken a couple weeks ago” do you not understand?
I’m sorry about your cat, but mine is just fine, she enjoyed this slommy very much.
It’s like I’m her owner and know what I can treat her with…
Lmao, mommy knows best what poisons to feed her baby!
One slice won’t kill her. One slice every week will absolutely kill her. Have a nice day!
Fat maybe, but cats’ kidneys are more efficient than ours and can actually hydrate by drinking sea water.

Not indefinitely. More so like in a survival situation for a few days. They will still eventually die from it.
