Pretty hilarious thread of the usual wacko banning people while admitting that they allowed the same behavior for kissinger. Many people point out the arbitrary, subjective nature. Many people banned. Thread locked.

Frustration is an absolutely normal and appropriate response. This is all very frustrating. Graham, mcconnell, Trump Etc they are all horrible people. And they will all undoubtedly make the world a better place by no longer being part of it.
Celebrating their deaths is cathartic but also pyrrhic. It doesn’t really accomplish anything. But on the other hand they can and do also celebrate death. Death of good people who did the bare minimum to try and hold them accountable. Like Trump celebrating Robert Mueller’s death. Not only that. They’re all so much more willing to kill the people they feel have wronged them. They’re celebrating the death of every person ICE has abducted or tried to right now.
It really just risks devolving into simple tribalism at some point. Cheering on or killing your people because you cheered about the death of theirs etc. They’re like chess playing pigeons. They’ll happily knock over all the pieces, shit all over the board, and strut around like they won. I can 💯% see why higher traffic larger communities want to stay clear of it generally.
But holding ourselves to higher standards doesn’t stop them or bind them as well. Frustration is the appropriate response. The correct response ultimately won’t be passively celebrating their deaths anyhow. It will have to be much more active if you get my meaning. I don’t think many people will ever be ready. But it’s the only actual chance for justice many of them will see. The system will do what it’s designed to do after all. Enable them and fail us.
You really have a way with words 😄
