Well timber can. Our timber industry is already getting creamed. They JUST shut down another pulp milll last week here in bc and logging is in a death spiral.
Fertilizer less so but we’re not going to keep our economy going on fertilizer and oil.
And the problem isn’t just trump, we’ve had 5 consecutive quarters… that’s QUARTERS mind you not months, of more business investment leaving canada than staying and it looks like this quarter is going to be the same… And the kick in the teeth is that pre dates trump. We were already weak to begin with. Now trump has made it worse and he knows very well that it doesn’t take much at this point to make our economy take a nose dive.
This guy wants us poor and collapsing so that he can take over, actually take over if possible and financially take over if not.
I understand he’s trying to hurt canada financially, obviously. However, industries like fertilizer and timber can’t relocate to the US.
