Good luck. Our 2nd wave is just finally starting to end, unfortunately it’s end capped by a 95°F day, and it hasn’t been below 85% humidity in weeks.

Thank you. The heat index today is 106, but it’s the first day in a month below 90% humidity, so the house is finally below 80. Only cooking I’ve done since Monday has been breakfasts, and most of those are smashed avocado on toast, usually a fruit smoothie for lunch, and tomato and cheese sandwich for lunch dinner. We’re officially in dog days, but Sirius hasn’t even risen. September is looking wild for storms, but we’ll see!

Ugh I feel that, but sounds like at least you’re eating well. Which certainly helps. It’s hard to eat when it’s this hot. Which is bad cause it’s more important than ever to eat.

Well I’m recovering an injury and waiting on the Wonderful Capitalist Empire Health Care Industry™️ to do it’s thing, so there’s really not much else to be done, even if it needs doing. But at least I’m feeling better as long as I don’t push it too much, but losing weight during winter sounds fun! 😊

Oof, yeah that’s always slow to get fixed/paid for. I had a really bad hernia years ago at work and it took so long I had to get an attorney. They sent one letter that said “look, it’s only getting worse and if you don’t fix it now, it’s going to cost more, and it’s close to doing permanent damage, at that point it’ll cost you dearly.” Had surgery that week, and random big checks in the mail for the next few months. I hate the idea of being litigious but in America that’s about the only way to get gears turning anymore.
