I’m sorry, I’m in a solidly red state in the Midwest. It’s best just to do what’s best for you. It’s definitely not worth it to just walk away and let them win. But I understand not wanting or being able to drag it out. Lean on your doctor and what protections there are , even if it’s few. There’s federal laws as well, and you have rights. Try to document everything. Keep notes of visits, interactions with the company and insurance, daily issues etc. basically keep a medical diary.
No worries, and thanks again, you’ve been great, and I honestly appreciate what you’ve shared. I have over 35 pages of notes, documenting calls and visits, attitude and demeanor, saved every email. I mean, I’m happy to sit home and do nothing, while also noting bills are recurrent, and my body needs exercise. This too shall passb until it does, I get a free workout for patience muscle, right?
Thanks you again. I appreciate all your comments and will keep them in mind. I’ll probably ask the paralegal tomorrow if they will write a letter without taking the case, and what the cost will be, although I’m pretty sure the insurance company would refuse to talk to me, and only the lawyer after that. I should note I don’t know if the damage is permanent, yet, but that not having it properly attended in a timely manner certainly lends weight to the possibility.

No problem, sounds like you’re doing everything you can, keep it up and I hope it works out and you feel better soon!
