I think this is a good mentality to have. We need to preserve and archive the Internet as best we can. I really wanted to delete my old Reddit account after the API change, but I realized that it would make any tech support threads useless if I just deleted all of my potentially helpful comments. I’ve been there on the other end when looking up a tech support questions and the OP just deleted the solution I was looking for, that was the worst feeling!
