Paw patrol became repetitive and reductive after Everest was introduced. It’s harmless and it’s biggest flaw is that the cop dog is given defacto leadership and yet has no actual talent that another dog couldn’t do better (or whose talents would include the tools Chase uses). Zuma should have the net, Marshall should have cones, and Sky should be the leader. Chase is useless and the reason the show became stuck on repeat.

Peppa Pig is under represented as trash because it’s a show that ignore the opportunity to be helpful and chooses to be mindless entertainment, like a class clown. Except the jokes don’t land. I have never heard a child laugh at Peppa Pig, only stare at it with gawped fascination.

Bluey is the rare show that defines an entire generation and becomes the seed of a cycle where those kids grow up and show it to their kids. It is one of the best TV shows in the last 10 years, regardless of genre.

The only character on Paw Patrol I like is Rocky. He’s kind of awkward but scrappy and resourceful. I respect that.

But yeah, thats all a very well thought out summary. Bluey is really something special. Paw Patrol is arguably more successful, but it wont have the same impact as Bluey or be seen as nearly as powerful a show years from now.

Every time I see a clip from Peppa Pig it feels like it was written by a 1950s man who has never met a young child and greatly underestimates the intelligence of an average child.

Every episode I have seen of Bluey has been a masterpiece who knows what modern children and parents are like.

Daddy Pig is a pompous fool who fails at everything and exists only to be a subject of ridicule.

Bandit is the best dad ever.

Reminds me very much of the role of Fred Flintstone.

It always struck me as a kid what a dark, sick society demands we laugh along at the man kicked out of his house to sleep outside as he screams and begs.

Fuck the Flintstones. Stupid brainrot and morally reprehensible. Nice theme song & character drawings, tho.

      I can’t tolerate Peppa Pig.

The looping 3 second background music.

      The characters laughing at nothing.

The constant mean spirited jabs at their useless cunt of a fat fuck loser moron father.

    Paw patrol is shit!

    Peppa is ok at best.

Bluey is god tier; but you have to understand that you will never be as good a parent as a cartoon dog!!!

I’d pick Bluey out of the three all day. Paw Patrol is overplayed like hell, and Peppa recently got screwed over badly by AI.

Yeah; the only one that’s any good for kids in the whole lot.

Replace right with Daniel Tiger and left with (insert your choice from the PBS kids app) and you’ve got yourself a lineup.

My kids went through the same shows (they are 4 years apart) plus others. My 2nd kid absolutely loved bluey and was the first thing she found entertaining on tv and i was like well thats a win! She loved the music which was the hook. Sadly we watched it so much we seen it all many times and she moved onto other things. Barely watch it these days. Still wondering when the next season is coming!

I have tried and tried and tried to get my kid into Bluey because I really want to watch it. He prefers Peppa, which has its moments but is no match for the Heeler family.

He doesn’t give a microscopic fuck about Paw Patrol and that’s fine by me lol.
