    I want permanent daylight saving time, but we should do it because it’s a good idea NOT because the Americans are doing it. We shouldn’t be doing anything to imitate the Americans

      It’s probably very practical in most of Canada, particularly the north, but it’s not much chop further south or closer to the Equator. I’m in Australia, it’s especially a pain in the arse if you have to move between states to work.

      It’s practical for Victoria and Tasmania, they have a lot of sunlight during the day down there. Queensland it’s a pain in the arse, especially up north.
