I strongly disagree that changing the numbers permanently will change when we do things. Not all jobs start at the same time. Some region’s 9-5 is an 8-4 for another region. What I do know is that 12 should be roughly noon, and having 1 or 2 be noon lessens our perception of time, especially between regions. More important than people having 8 at the same time is that 8 means the same thing between people.
