I wouldn’t say vibes, I’d say identity based. Many people vote the same way their whole life. All bad vibes can do is get them to sit one out, not vote for the other party.

Loads of left leaning folks on Lemmy (maybe a majority) think Republican voters are just plain evil. What I don’t think they seem to grasp is that the feeling is mutual! Republicans think Democrats are evil!
