They have Bill C-34, which introduces a new commission with the power to censor and control what Canadians can access on the internet, and requires Canadians to hand over government-issued ID to access websites and online services, potentially to third parties run from the USA. And the Canadian government continues to increase intelligence sharing with the USA despite the USA clearly being hostile and a threat to Canada. Whoever they’re governing for, it’s not us.
