Greetings lemmings
I can’t seem to find a verdict on the use of syncthing fork these days.
I know there was turmoil around the repo owner changing hands, and the lack of communication around it.
Looking to see what folks are using these days for Syncthing on android.
Any and all info on this welcomed!

I’ve raised this question a little while ago: https://lemmy.ml/post/47046615
My personal conclusion was to use BasicSync. It’s a minimal wrapper around the upstream shared codebase of syncthing itself, and it’s so far been very stable and reliable. Security-wise and in terms of risks of abandonment, this approach also makes sense for me. I use it since.
I did install this, and I am lliking it’s simplicity and reliance on Syncthing itself for configuration.
