Obligatory Last Week Tonight, part II, and part III.
I thought it was a dead horse, not a dog… They just can’t not kick it for cash. Sick fucks.
It seems to be a sign of cultural stagnancy and decay that very little new media is getting produced and ascending into the mainstream. I’m not saying NO new media is getting made, obviously there is more than ever, but a ton of what makes it into wider public consciousness seems to be remakes and reboots and sequels and side stories of established IP from 30+ years ago.
The incentives for safe financial bets has killed the future of original media. Weep, weep for the future. We shall see Airbud 27 by the end of the decade.
Every time someone makes a reboot/remake nobody asked for, we should sacrifice an executive.
I was surprised last year to learn that not only were there more than 2 “bud” movies, but my in-laws have every single one and they watch them multiple times a year.
ain’t no rule against it
This is real?!
Surely there must be a rule against this!
How old is that actor now? Amazing that he’d still be in shape to play. Let’s see, the first movie was like 1997, so 29 human years…Would have been at least a year old at the time (probably more)… 210?!
Wat how?? Dumb.
Somehow
