If your job asked you to eat dog would you do it?

    Because thas what your asking.

Halal isn’t a preference, its a standard for how meat is killed and prepared all the way to your food to your plate.

I think you got the post you’re replying to completely backwards.

They’re saying in that man’s shoes, they’d adopt a diet like pescetarianism or become vegan, which would allow them to practice halal even without needing dedicated halal meat sources.

That’s a very poor strawman analogy.

A better analogy is, if your dream job said you could no longer eat steak or chicken, would you do it? If your dream job required you to eat a vegan or vegetarian diet, would you?

OP wasn’t suggesting that the person eat non-halal meat, they were suggesting they just don’t eat meat.

The privilege of being vegetarian or vegan would probably increase the health of our society quite a bit, as well as our environment if everyone adopted that standard.

Either way: if I’m getting my dream job out of it I’ll go full vegan gluten free hard mode yo.

That’s great, can you awknlowdge there’s a large host of reasons beyond a persons control that makes 100% vegetarian adoption impossible?

Its great that YOU can do that, not everyone can.
