Lol in my 20 years working in IT and IT security every desktop/laptop was windows except sometimes the people who needed to do graphics things (marketing) who were on MACs. Sure we had plenty of servers on linux, but standard for end points was always Windows. And every IT was sad that that’s the state of affairs but accepted it. I’ve hated Windows since 95 and been on Linux since one of the first Slackware versions (it was at a time when to have floppy disk support you had to recompile the kernel), but you have to adapt to your environment or else you refuse maybe 99% of the jobs out there.
