Mark Zuckerberg told the Financial Times the United States should not block Chinese AI models, and warned of "regulatory capture" if American frontier labs help vet competing models. He made the case in a Wall Street Journal op-ed and a New York Times interview the same day.
I don’t know whether or not he’s right in this situation, but I do know that he only acts out of self interest, and I am inherently suspicious of anything he, or any other CEO, says. I find it safer to assume he’s taking compete bollocks.
