I’ve been through booth, Overall nothing I’d ever plan a trip specifically for, but everyone has their own interests.
Ithaca - the town itself; no. There’s a lot of cool hiking trails, and some water falls/scenic views nearby if you’re into that. Cornell University is also there, if you like exploring old architecture there’s some neat buildings.
Troy also no, unless you want to visit a town that looks like it hasn’t changed since 1980. It is right next to Albany, the state capitol, so there’s that.
