I don’t get it
There’s a right turn immediately after the road curve (debatably a left turn)
My guess: the first view you can see only the sign indicating a right turn in the road ahead. In the second photo, the road curves left instead.
Looks like there’s still a right turn there, but it isn’t the direction the road continues.
That right turn has a mailbox next to it, so it’s a private driveway. Almost certainly the wrong sign was installed.
Something isn’t right. I can feel it.

Pedestrians are supposed to walk facing traffic so they can see cars coming
That way they can describe the driver, assuming they survive.
No no, he’s saying you should face away from the sign because then the turn behind you would be on the right like the sign says.
