There was a Family Ties episode (or was it Growing Pains?) where the girl gets a job doing data entry and brings up a flaw in the logic of what she’s transcribing. The supervisor immediately contacts the author who personally comes down to thank her for pointing it out and she gets promoted for being so smart.

Exactly how the world works lol

I actually did end up getting promoted from that for good preformance. I had very high accuracy I just fell asleep everyday.

QA tester it was much more dynamic and so my preformance increased as I was able to focus and I moved to the it support team but I left after a change in management put an absolute boomer terrorist in charge of IT.
