It’s a good thing Aaron Swartz doesn’t have to witness all this, especially since the greediest of all corporations are now raking in money with complete impunity for the very thing he was supposed to go to prison for years—even though he had no intention of enriching himself at all.
Tbf maybe people aren’t visiting reddit as much because they can’t open or view anything from the search engine without an account? And if you make an account you’re gonna get randomly banned sitewide a week later for existing wrong?

Is this currently being rolled out? I just tried with a generic search and “reddit” and it let me pull up a few threads.

Gotcha. I sort of figured so, but didn’t know exactly how old the news was.
My phone can only open a reddit thread for less than a minute before it locks up and asks for an account.
