I‘ve been using Arch for round about 13 years now, and, depending on your setup, manual interventions after an update are only required very rarely + they are usually documented on the arch website, so you get an exact step-by-step guide on what to do (which has always been super easy and quick to do). I would consider arch to be a very stable experience in the long term.
That being said, I really don’t get where people are getting their information from that arch is a heavy time consuming unstable mess.
