I was going to comment on a post today, and found out I’d been banned from mop@quokk.au. Apparently it happened awhile ago.

Not much of a reason, no real evidence given. The mod didn’t include a screenshot, link, or even quoted text, so I’m not sure which specific interaction led to this. Basically this is just thought policing. Hilarious considering that the community claims to be:

free of the “ML” influence of instances like lemmy.ml and lemmygrad.

Also, even if the accusation is true it doesn’t break any community rules:

There is only one mod of mop@quokk.au, so this isn’t just a vague/general example. @lumpenproletariat@quokk.au is a PTB.

    no you’re not. one of the most important foundations of anarchism is the concept of freedom of association. we have decided we no longer wish to associate with you. your own personal freedoms have not been affected by this decision.
