I was going to comment on a post today, and found out I’d been banned from mop@quokk.au. Apparently it happened awhile ago.

Not much of a reason, no real evidence given. The mod didn’t include a screenshot, link, or even quoted text, so I’m not sure which specific interaction led to this. Basically this is just thought policing. Hilarious considering that the community claims to be:

free of the “ML” influence of instances like lemmy.ml and lemmygrad.

Also, even if the accusation is true it doesn’t break any community rules:

There is only one mod of mop@quokk.au, so this isn’t just a vague/general example. @lumpenproletariat@quokk.au is a PTB.

    Actually, all of my direct questions have either been dodged or ignored. No one has been able to offer any answer as to which rule I actually broke that was deserving of a ban, or why a 73-year ban with no warning and no recourse was justified.
