As someone who had two ThinkServer bios updates kill the board when instructions were followed to the letter (not my first rodeo), including being plugged into a ups during the process - it was so bad that they were not even savable with the recovery flash procedure - as well as three separate ThinkPad units across 3 different product families that have issues…
battery longevity of less than an hour [vs advertised 12] after just a month, even after a replacement was installed; this machine sees extremely light use as a diagnostic and troubleshoot unit

…run awaaaaaay. They’d have to literally give me the unit, with the extra 5 year warranty added on, for me to evaluate if I should accept it as a gift. Absolutely no way whatsoever would I trust their products again with my money.
