Are there any cheaper alternatives to steam controller, the ones which also support the gyroscope and touch pads? I would like to buy something like steam controller, if it did not cost $300 usd.

The Stream Controller is $100. Considering the quality is on-par with the PS/Xbone controllers at $70-80 and has the extra features, I doubt you’ll find one cheaper. I’m pretty sure it’s the first of its kind with trackpads as well.

The original price is $100, but due to very high demand and very low supply, every store that even has one for sale, the price is absurdly high. Are there any alternatives to steam controller which also support gyroscope and touchpads, but are not that expensive?

Wishlist it on your steam account to put yourself on the wait list. They’ll send you an email when your spot comes up…mine is shipping today!

I cant wishlist it on my account, steam says it is unavailable in my region, and i could not change the region with vpn, still unavailable. So i have to buy steam controller from resellers, but they overprice it due to high demand.

      Gyroscope:
DualShock 4, Dualsense, Nintendo Pro Controller or Joycons, some 8BitDo models and some other third-parties.

      Touchpads:
Outside of Valve, really only Sony controllers, but I find the touchpad to be way too out of reach to use for anything that isn’t quick shortcuts.

There is a third-party controller called “DarkWalker ShotPad” that packs both Gyro and a big ass touchpad, but it only emulates a Keyboard and Mouse (so no Steam Input) and people online complain the touchpad is awfully low resolution so…

Darkwalker shotpad actually looks interesting, and is actually cheap. Despite not having a controller input, i wanted a controller with gyro and trackpads specifically to play games with no controller support.
