    There just seemed to be non-stop unintentionally traumatic stuff in this era, including that movies would have real human skeletons (sold for medical demonstration) in them. Maybe they were trying to prepare us for the nightmare future of 2026.

      70s/80s kids cinema was fucking brutal. This, Watership Down, The Neverending Story, All Dogs Go To Heaven, The Black Cauldron, The Dark Crystal, to name just a few. So much terror and sadness, no wonder I’m so jaded.
