The “DogPack” podcast is represented by the WME talent agency, so if people are pissed at Warner, they should be pissed at them as well. Is it worse to provide the service or worse to buy it?

Anyway it looks like the words are written by humans, and then AI does the animation of dogs talking. It’s difficult to tell but I think the voices are also AI.

The podcast itself isn’t anything deep, think morning talk radio. Basically just dog puns and chatter.

Originally the podcast was used to promote the app “DogPack” which helps people find dog parks. However it grew popular on TikTok/Instagram because “dog who thinks it’s people” is a classic concept, and this one got popular.

I think WME is trying to get their 15 minutes of fame money on this one. I expect we’ll get a competing dog podcast for something like “Air Bud” and then this will oversaturate and go away.

The concept will stay but I just don’t see me ever hearing the word “DogPack” again.
