Is there any actually functional license plate obscuring tech that works? Everything I’ve found looks like it’s either complete snake oil or barely does anything.
I don’t think that’s technically possible, at least without it being easy to catch.
If they can’t read a license plate, that’s also a reading - and one they probably flag and send a police car after you immediately.
And especially if they are pairing it with car model/make/scratches recognition, and secondary trackers like phone/rfid/bluetooth devices, even if you managed to keep changing the license plate, so it reads a different valid value every scan, since they are mapping the cars across positions, it would probably get flagged as an anomaly pretty quickly.
Speeding cameras were there for decades at this point, and as far as I know every time someone tried something to avoid them, it didn’t last long. And that was just a single camera. All the cops had to do was stand nearby and stop any anomalies.
