it’s generally a 6/10 spin-off rom-com, but with one solid 10/10 arc that makes it all worth it that ties it in with the main series and movie so well I’d consider it an essential must-watch for Haruhi fans.
I don’t remember what happened exactly anymore when they weave in the main story but I remember it being quite touching. I also love the ending theme and its music video on YT. It definitely reveals things not revealed in the main series so definitely a must watch for fans indeed.
