Josephine County Sheriff Dave Daniel requested Josephine County Legal Counsel to send a contract termination letter to Flock.
Effective immediately, Flock ALPR’s are no longer activated in rural Josephine County and the contract is terminated, officials said.
No victory until they are physically removed, since I guarantee they’re still on, but it’s a step in the right direction
Josephine county is the asshole of southern Oregon, they are chronically underfunded and mostly anti government (in the far-cry way, not leftist) rednecks.

Good for them that they took this stand though, kind of impressive. Last SO town I would have thought to take the charge of banishing Flock.
