Like vote, please vote against this, but the battle for a fair election may already be lost. As such I don’t think this reductive argument that the American people are voting for this is accurate.
The gerrymandering, misinformation, destruction of education, and systemic voter disenfranchisement is their battle plan. This plan is broad historically as well as geographically.
The GOP’s primary target is to rig the election system since at least Bush v Gore.
The supreme court will let this happen.
