My local BBQ place will do a full 3-meat (and sides) catering spread for 20 people for $350. If you’re paying $300 for 6 people, you’re getting ripped off.

Just say the price you actually paid for that platter for 6 (judging by the hamburger buns) with those boiled looking brisket without a smoke ring.

Wouldn’t $300 in any currency still be $300?

Like 5 kilogram of any material is still 5 kilogram?

Sure you might have one block of steel and 250.000 grains of rice… But still 5 kilogram.

$ doesn’t tell you anything though. $ CAD != $ AUD != $ USD. Grams have an agreed upon global meaning.

Either way, they should tell us the currency.

Edit: In Toronto, this is a common price for this quantity (1/2lb), in CAD.
